November 2006 - The Provincetown Banner"Dancing With The Dogs - Sunday's hottest draw proved to be the "Capering Canines" doggie dancing event at the Senior Center. Dubbed a "freestyle" dancing performance by dogs and their owners, the four canines featured in the event, Chip, Sam, Wiley and Tobey, proved to be quick studies. As Chip, a tiny Coton de Tulear, obediently hurled himself in the air and dashed through a makeshift tunnel, mixed-breed Sam mirrored the cha-cha dancing steps of his owner. But the show belonged to Tobey, a sweet-toothed golden retriever who his owner confessed was new to the sport. Enticed by the sight of a little girl quietly munching a piece of cake on the sidelines, Tobey stopped mid-dance and skittered across the floor for a bite of his own." "Dog Day Afternoon - Ann, a resident of Falmouth Harborside Healthcare, gets a big wet kiss from Tobey after his performance Friday as one of the Capering Canines of Cape Cod, a volunteer group based in Sandwich that brings dogs to visit the elderly, among others. Excerpt: "On a steamy summer evening, Katie Tracanna of Dennis and Jan Weiner of Sandwich chat on a grassy glen in South Yarmouth. Sitting patiently beside the two women are Sammy, Wiley Coyote, Tobey and Chip, registered therapy dogs who delight in canine musical freestyle as members of Capering Canines of Cape Cod. The ensemble’s opening number, “Dancing in the Streets,” highlights each dog’s special talent. Wiley spins, Sammy weaves through Tracanna’s legs, Tobey walks backwards and Chip performs a series of jumps and flips."

CCCC Capture Heart of Seniors
October 2008 - The Mashpee "Sam rolls over during a routine. In addition to putting on performances at senior centers, Capering Canines of Cape Cod also visit nursing homes across the Cape, incorporating musical freestyle dancing demonstrations into their registered pet therapy dog sessions the group offers."
"Tobey, a golden retriever, dances with Jan during a recent Halloween Party hosted by the Mashpee Seniors Social Committee. CCCC visited the senior center with three trainer/owners to put on a "really fun" show where the dogs danced and did tricks, entertaining a crowd of 47."
